Employment
To apply for this company you will need to have completed or currently be studying any of the below courses from tafe or another training organization. For people who are at university, please contact the office for a list of courses that are applicable.
- Cert 3, 4 or diploma in youth work
- Cert 3, 4 or diploma in children services
- Cert 3, 4 or diploma of community services
- Cert 3, 4 or diploma in disability studies
If you are then the following process will occur:
Step 1. email, fax or post your resume
Step 2. you will then be emailed an application which you will need to fill in and return asap
Step 3. you will be notified at this stage if we would like to progress with your application or you have not met our criterea
Step 4. if your application progresses you must have completed the following courses or had the following forms filled in before an interview time can be booked
- Child Safe Environments (formally known as mandated notification)
- Two written references and two names of people we can contact for verbal references
- Copy of car registration papers
- General Practioner Verified Medical History Form – this form will be supplied to you by yourhousehold
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
Step 5. send in forms and you will be notified if you have been successful for an interview
Step 6. At the interview you will be required to fill in forms for a police clearance, this will incur a cost of $55 payable on the day, this police clearance is done through the screening and licensing branch of Families SA and sit a written psychology test based on child safety
Step 7. Based on your interview and the psychological test results and your police clearance results you will be notified if you have been successful in obtaining a position with yourhousehold.
