Living independently for the first time can be a daunting and difficult experience. To ease the transition for youths, whether they are under the guardianship of the state or perhaps don't have a solid family or friend network to guide and teach them how to live independently, yourkids offers one-on-one training and assistance with basic home management skills.

Our friendly, caring and patient domestic helpers can explain, demonstrate and offer expert guidance on how to cook, clean, wash, iron, garden, look after pets and take care of various other household tasks. With the aid of a yourkids domestic helper, customers are taught all of the necessary skills required to live independently, boosting their overall confidence and morale and enabling them to make better life choices.

Please note, all yourkids staff members have a current police check, Senior First Aid certificate and experience in working with GOM children and their families and / or running their own house and family. All cleaning equipment to be provided by customer or can be supplied by yourkids at an additional cost.

Family Assistance

yourkids also offers a Family Assistance service to government and non-government organisations for families who may need guidance and direction in basic home management skills. Regardless of the individual circumstances, yourkids domestic helpers can demonstrate to families how best to take care of general household duties, including cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, gardening and pet care. The Family Assistance services enables parents to develop their life-management skills, improve family relationships and focus on enhancing their financial circumstances and career prospects.
